NOTE: Dominick had a brother named Thomas Barrett. Oral history has been passed down stating that Dominick paid $2.00 to an Indian Chief for the woman who was to become his, Dominick's, wife. Her Indian name was Fair Cloth. Dominick gave her the Christian name of Martha, thus her name Martha Faircloth. I do not believe he gave $2.00 cash, but rather bartered goods that had the value of roughly $2.00 for that time (such as furs or flint or a horse maybe even food ect.). Cash money had no value to an Indian of that day. Martha had a sister who must have married Dominick's brother Thomas because Martha's sister's name was Jeannie Faircloth and she had 3 children named: Holden, Wade, and Fannie Barrett.
